A Shooting Star Night
For wind band (with optional spatialized percussion)
This piece describes a night when, alone at home, I sat on a deckchair in my garden to watch the night of shooting stars in the summer of 2023. This ballet of stars, thousands of kilometers away, transported me to another world. No clouds, no stray light, just myself and the Milky Way towering over me. I then sat down at the piano, around 3:00 a.m., and the main theme of the piece slipped through my fingers.

Before Dinner Drinks
Suite for vibraphone and piano
This suite for vibraphone and piano is inspired by three official (IBA) cocktails classified as "Before Dinner Drinks". The three must-have cocktails chosen in this suite are each created from three different main spirits, served in three different-shaped glasses, so it's only natural that each movement takes on a very different style. The three movements can be played independently or as a suite.

The Dragon of Naters
Symphonic poem for wind band
This piece was inspired by a legend straight out of the Valais mountains. There are many different versions, but this piece is based on the version recounted by Alexandre Dumas in his book Impression de voyage. The story takes place in a small village not far from Brig, called Naters, from the Latin Natria, meaning viper. The original story is summarized and associated with the various parts of the piece.

Percussion foot
For 4 percussionists (minimum) on two feet
This percussion piece uses the feet as the sole instrument. I studied the techniques of tap dancers to extract steps that can be played by percussionists new to the discipline. The sounds are produced mainly by the impact of the foot on the floor, but also by the rubbing of the sole on the ground.

Somewhere In The Woods
Duo for flute and bassoon
The flute and the bassoon are two instruments that are opposite in timbre, but close in the collective imagination. The flute is associated with angelic sounds, often synonymous with purity. It is often depicted with the god Pan, and by extension symbolizes nature and the fantastic beings that inhabit it. The bassoon, on the other hand, has a more grotesque, comic tone. Since Paul Duaks' The Sorcerer's Apprentice, it has been seen as the representative of magic and mystery, tinged with a touch of clumsiness.
